ACHC is a non-profit healthcare accrediting organization based in the United States. It stands as an alternative to the Joint Commission and the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). CHAP requires preliminary documentation, and allows six months to prepare and submit this material. CHAP has an annual fee based on agency size, and a fee for each survey day.
