Atavaka Fusion Recipes
More Information About Atavaka
Ultimate Personas can be fused after you've obtained their respective key items. If you're going for a complete compendium in Persona 3 Reload, you'll want to spend as much free time as possible on Social Links. Since you'll be juggling more than 20 Social Links, you may not unlock these Personas until late-game. Among these are Atavaka, the ultimate form of the Strength Arcana, and a worthy candidate if you need a Persona that uses Physical Skills.

To fuse Atavaka, you'll need the Kid's Letter key item. This can only be obtained by reaching Rank 10 in the Strength (Yuko Nishiwaki) Social Link. You will have the chance to unlock Yuko's Social Link after you've reached Rank 2 of the Chariot (Kazushi Miyamoto) Social Link, which unlocks automatically on 4/23. As the protagonist leaves school, he'll see Yuko by the shoe lockers. Ask to walk her home to unlock Rank 1 of the Strength Social Link.
Key items obtained from Social Links will carry over into NG+.

Atavaka mainly has Physical and Passive skills that further enhance his attack stat. Even if you never use Atavaka, you'll need to level him up to get his Heart Item, the Wisdom King's Locks. These are required for making the Soldier's Flag or Aura Dog Suit armor at Mayoido Antiques.
- The Soldier's Flag is an Accessory that adds +100HP to it's user.
- The Aura Dog Suit can only be worn by Koromaru. It provides 380 Defense, +5 Endurance, and Nulls Light.
If you use Atavaka in battle, you should familiarize yourself with Atavaka's Stats and Skills:

Level | Description | |
---|---|---|
Brave Blade | Innate | Deals severe Slash damage to one enemy. |
Maragidyne | Innate | Inflicts heavy Fire damage to all enemies. |
Null Dizzy | Innate | Prevents the user from being inflicted with the Dizzy status ailment. |
God's Hand | 74 | Deals severe Strike damage to one enemy. |
Auto-Mataru | 75 | Increases the party's Attack at the start of battle. This effect lasts for 3 turns. |
Mediarahan | 77 | Fully restores the HP of all active party members. |
Firm Stance | 79 | User cannot dodge attacks, but incoming damage is reduced by half. |
Recommended Skills for Atavaka
- To cover Atavaka's Ice weakness, you may consider Resist Ice. On 12/10, you can trade x10 Opal for a Resist Ice Skill Card at Mayoido Antiques.
- Arms Master is another useful Skill. It's a Passive Skill that will reduce the cost of HP when using Physical Skills.
- You can also teach Atavaka the Ali Dance Skill, which greatly reduces the accuracy of incoming attacks (does not include status ailments, such as Poisma).
- You're likely to use Yukari or another Persona for your healer, so swapping out Mediarahan for another Physical Skill or even a Passive Skill that amplifies Atavaka's Attack is recommended. Also, despite Atavaka's low Magic stat, you may want to keep Maragidyne, as it can be used to Down most opponents that use Ice Skills. Remember that Atavaka's only weakness is Ice.
