You can create a calendar that's accessible to everyone in your organization (or a subset of users). For example, you might want a group calendar for events like team holidays and regular meetings.
On the left, click your calendar.In the Share with specific people section, click Add people and enter the email address or names of the people you want to share your calendar with. Choose a sharing permission option: See only free/busy (hide details)
An appointment schedule in Google Calendar allows you to create a shareable booking page that lets others book time with you. Open your internet browser and go to calendar.google.com. Click Create. Then, click Appointment schedule from the dropdown menu.
Google Calendar provides a holistic view of your entire schedule. Google Calendar and Calendly let you sync multiple calendars. But Google Calendar is the only one that lets you view your scheduled events and remaining availability all in one calendar.
If you use Calendar with a personal account or Workspace Business Starter, you can create a single booking page and accept unlimited appointments at no charge. For Workspace Frontline, Essentials, or an older Google Workspace subscription that's no longer offered, you can't create appointment schedules.
If you use Google Calendar through your work, school, or other organization, you can make your calendar available to everyone in your organization under “Access permissions for events.” Learn more about access permissions.
A Shared Calendar is created by an individual and shared with specific people. The original owner can decide the level of access each person has – from view-only to edit rights. On the other hand, a Group Calendar is associated with Microsoft 365 Group or Microsoft Teams teams.
Click Create calendar. Point to the shared calendar and click More > Share with specific people or groups. Choose an option: Everyone in your organization - Under Access permissions, check the "Make available for your organization" box.
Hover over the calendar you want to share, and click More > Settings and sharing. Under Share with specific people, click Add people. Add a person's or Google group's email address. Use the drop-down menu to adjust their permission settings.
